Ginger Snaps (Molasses Cookies)

3/4 Crisco (oil will work)
1 cup Sugar (brown or white)
2 cups Flour
1tsp Ginger
1tsp Cinnamon
1tsp Ground cloves
2tsp Baking soda
1tsp Salt
4Tblsp Molasses
1 Egg

Mix shortening, sugar, egg, molasses. 
Add flour, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, baking soda, and salt.
Roll dough into small ball and place on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 8-12 minutes.
