This year's True Grit match definitely brought out the "true grit" in all
of us.  The temperature hit a high of 107 both days.  Saturday also had
around 75% humidity on top of that.  Along with the heat we still had the
stages to deal with.  We shot 6 on Saturday and 4 on Sunday.  Each stage
averaged around 100 seconds each.  So you get an idea of how complicated
they were and how much lead we had to send down range.  Thanks to Buckshot
Pete for writing all the stages this year.  He did a very fine job.  All
in all, it was a fun time.  We hope you all enjoyed yourselves.  I know
the "River" sure felt good after the shooting was over.  Although we have
no control over the weather, I'm sure next year won't be as warm.

Congratulations to all the winners and thank you all for coming.   We hope
to see you again next year.

      Warmest Regards,
