Pistols - 5 rounds each - holstered

Rifle - 10 rounds (staged at "B")

Shotgun - 4+ rounds.

 

****Shooter is registered in the "Duelist Category" shooting "Double Duelist" style****

 

Scenario:

Shooter starts at "A" with unloaded shotgun in both hands (no ammo in hand).

 

At the beep, engage S1 - S4 in any order until all targets are down.

Move to "B" and engage R1 - R5 with two rounds each.

Move to "C" and engage P1 - P5 with two rounds each.

 

At the beep, Shooter engages shotgun and rifle targets correctly with no misses.

Shooter moves to "C", draws first pistol and "double taps" P1, P1, P2, P2 then holsters first pistol.

Draws 2nd pistol and cocks it, but before firing it, realizes that there is one more round to be fired in the 1st pistol.  Shooter re-draws first pistol, while 2nd pistol remains "Out" and "Cocked", and fires the remaining round from 1st pistol on P3 in a "Double Duelist" style.  Shooter then fires 2nd pistol on P3, P4, P4, P5, P5.

    Since the stage description did not specify that the revolvers be shot "1st pistol/2nd pistol", the  shooter could have:

     

    A) Fired the first round from the second pistol, then re-holstered that revolver before re-drawing the first pistol to fire the fifth round, or

     

    B) Fired the 2nd pistol on P3, P3, P4, P4, P5; then re-draw the 1st pistol for the last shot on P5, with NO Penalty for firing the guns "out of order".
