The Oregon Old West Shooting Society held it's Saturday Cowboy Action Shooting match on May 22nd in rainy blustery conditions.  The day started out cloudy, turned to heavy rain and wind, then blue sky and clouds.  Of course we are used to this cuz it's Orygun. 

 

We had 42 shooters brave the weather for a fun eventful day.  Thanks to those who donated to the prize table:  Territorial Ryder, Grumpy and Warmheart, Rocky Meadows and The Man With No Name, whatever his name is.  Also thanks to Will Shootem and the crew for setting up some fun stages.  Thanks also for those who helped tear down.  Every little bit helps and we appreciate it.

 

Congratulations to Territorial Ryder as the Overall Match Winner and Buckshot Shell-E as top Lady Shooter.  I would also like to point out that on stage 3 Tenshot Tammy and Shell-E  placed in the top five.  That's impressive!  Way to go ladies.  They both beat me on that stage.  I heard about it all the way home.

 

We shoot again Sunday June 20th.  Our Saturday June 26th match will be cancelled due to the Oregon State Match that same weekend.  Most of us will be attending.  If you want to come shoot with us you can download an application form from our web site.  www.oowss.com
