Howdy All,
The Oregon Old West Shooting Society held their
second of the month Cowboy Action Shooting Match on Saturday March 27th at the
ARPC North Range. We had 45 shooters turn out for a great match. We shot
five stages. One even involved a "Saving Miss Rocky" stage in which we had to
save Rocky from the Evil Nutria and try not to step in their "droppings" as
you moved from one side to the other. Congratulations to Loden B Kwik and
Tenshot Tammy as top man and lady shooters. Thanks to those who contributed
to the prize table; Territorial Ryder, McKenzie River Slim, Grumpy and
Warmheart and oh ya, that other guy, "The Square Root of 16", aka Ol #4.
Thanks to all who helped set up and tear down the
stages. We really appreciate your help. And also thanks to those who are
contributing to the stage writing. We've had some real fun stages these past
few months. It makes for an exiting match.
Our next match will be April 18th. We look
forward to seeing you all there.
**Special Notice: The May
16th match will be CANCELLED due to the Full Auto Shoot on the main
range.
