Albany is the
place to shoot in OryGUN during the winter months
....and that's just about
all year round!!! We had 30 shooters that were NOT affected by the rain
because of our now newly all covered bays.
General U.S. Grant (SASS #
2) was here this month to shoot with us. He was very impressed by ALL the
bays being covered. He was even more impressed with "not hearing any wimp
loads at this range". He smiled as he took home a ribbon and was made a
member of our club being presented with a badge. Sorry no pictures were
taken(our photographer was absent).
PaleWolf gave a complete
report of the TG Summit. If you missed it or need further explanation
please e-mail him at

I would like to take this
opportunity to thank everyone for making our club so GREAT!! I am also
going to take this opportunity to introduce you to the newest life
member....Rocky Meadows....yes, along with being the first recipient of
the Golden Star Award "given to individuals who exceed the normal
expectations of the cowboy way". I was given a life membership for my
promotions and contribution to SASS. Thank you all I am VERY proud and
honored by this award.
See you all next
month......rain or shine...IT'S ALBANY!!

On behalf of Grizzly Wulff (who doesn't
have email, yet) he would like to thank everyone for their hard work this
past year. We can't have the fun we do without YOU and your help. Thanks

behalf of the Oregon Old West Shooting Society we would like to
congratulate Rocky Meadows on her prestigious award. She deserves it and
we are proud to have her in our club.
