Question of the Month (July)

Pistols: 5 rounds each, holstered

Rifle: 10 rounds (staged in rack at "A")

Shotgun: 4+ (staged in train car on table "B")

Shooter is registered in Frontier Cartridge Duelist category shooting Remington NM Army conversions, a Winchester 1873 (both in .45 Colt) and a LC Smith 12ga SxS.

Stage description: Starting at "A" with hands on your revolvers.

When ready say, "What's going on here?" At the beep, grab your rifle and engage the five rifle targets twice each in any order. Take your rifle to table "B" in the train car and get your shotgun.

Engage the four shotgun targets, in any order, through the open car window. Place the shotgun back on the table, move out the right end of the car and engage the revolver targets as follows:

The four front targets and the large marshal in a sweep from either end, then the rear four targets and the large marshal in a sweep from the same direction as the first revolver.  If the pistol knockdowns are hit they count as a hit, but if they go down they count as a hit and a one second bonus each.

Shooter says the line and @ the beep, shooter picks up rifle and double taps the five rifle targets from left to right, missing R3 with shot #6.

Shooter takes rifle to table "B";  picks up shotgun and knocks down the four shotgun targets, sweeping from left to right.  Sets O&E shotgun down on table "B".

Shooter moves to the right side of the RR car and engages the front four pistol KD targets, hitting all four and knocking one down. Shooter holsters first revolver; RO tells the shooter "One more round"; shooter redraws and shoots the large marshal target.

Shooter then draws second revolver and using both hands, dumps five rounds on the large marshal target.
